2D Staff - CAD Drafter/Technician (sofa, furniture)

Translating designer sketches, concept designs, or 3D models into accurate, manufacturable 2D production drawings.
Ensure all drawings must comply with the company standards and procedures.
Modify existing drawings based on callouts, markups, and feedback from team leader, manager, customers, and designers.
Collaborate closely with team leader, manager, QC/QA, and production teams to ensure drawings meet design intent and feasibility.
Maintaining accurate documentation, revisions, and filing systems for furniture drawings.
Generate detailed 2D shop drawings, elevations, sections, and plans for upholstered furniture using AutoCAD.
Specifying seam details, frame construction, and padding (foam/fill) in AutoCAD software.

Familiarity with upholstery furniture construction methods is a must.
Attention to detail and high precision in drawing measurements and annotations.
Strong knowledge of drafting standards, dimensions, and tolerances.
Diploma or degree in Drafting, Furniture design, or any related fields.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software, high level skills in 2D and 3D AutoCAD is essential.
