This role is responsible for the efficient management of engineering operations across a large, complex luxury property comprising heritage and modern structures, multiple event venues, food & beverage outlets, and guest facilities.
The position ensures compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements while driving asset protection, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement aligned with JW Marriott brand standards.
The Assistant Director of Engineering supports the Director of Engineering in overseeing the operation, maintenance, and sustainability of all hotel facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional guest experience.

Education & Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hotel engineering or facilities management, with management & supervisory experience.
Experience in luxury or large- scale hotel operations preferred.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and automation systems.
Experience with preventive maintenance systems and engineering management tools.
Familiarity with Singapore regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
