The Assistant IT Manager supports the Head of IT in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the IT department. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems, networks, security and technology infrastructure to support business operations and enhance customer experience across all clubs. The Assistant IT Manager will assist in implementing IT strategies, managing projects, and leading the IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in IT systems within the gaming or hospitality industry.
Duties may include but are not limited to
Help oversee the maintenance, security, and upgrade of network systems, including virtual and physical server hardware and software.
Ensure compliance with IT/Gaming- related regulatory policies and procedures.
Maintain an inventory of computer equipment and develop an annual replacement plan.
Other tasks as assigned by direct manager.
Assist in managing the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring efficient and reliable IT services.
Support the IT Manager/ Cluster Head of IT in supervising the IT team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Maintain and develop IT standards, policies, and procedures that comply with all casino policies and regulations.
Attend job- related meetings, in- service training, and other training sessions to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
Ensure the smooth operation of desktop computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems, productivity software, and anti- virus.
Coordinate employee computer orientation and training programs.
Assist in developing and managing annual objectives, operating budgets, and capital budgets for the IT department.
Oversee website maintenance and security.
Perform assigned duties in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
Assist in managing all clubs, or office- related software systems, including upgrades and departmental- specific software.
Adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of the Company and the IT department.
Prioritize and manage IT projects, coordinating IT purchases for all departments.
Maintain compliance with all workplace policies, procedures, ordinances, laws, and other communicated expectations.
Inventory all equipment and technical assets.
Work with external IT vendors, consultants, and engineers.
Ensure overall performance of the IT department and IT team.
Stay current on technological advances in the IT field and make recommendations to improve operations.
Manage telephone systems.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in IT management or supervisory roles, preferably within the gaming or hospitality industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing IT projects and vendor relationships.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of IT/Gaming- related regulatory policies and procedures.
Strong technical expertise in network systems, security, vmware / hyper- v, server hardware/software, and desktop computer systems.
