The Bartender creates engaging and memorable bar experiences through confident beverage preparation, genuine interaction, and attentive service. This role balances craft with presence, ensuring guests feel welcomed, understood, and cared for throughout their visit.
Guest Experience and Service
• Remember guest names and preferences whenever possible to support personalization
• Thank guests sincerely upon departure
• Engage guests naturally and confidently to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere
• Offer thoughtful beverage recommendations based on guest preferences and occasion
• Welcome and acknowledge every guest warmly upon arrival at the bar
Operational Readiness and Service Standards
• Prepare and serve beverages with consistency, accuracy, and pride in presentation
• Serve beverages promptly once ready, ensuring correct temperature and presentation
• Apply food safety and hygiene standards at all times in accordance with HACCP requirements
• Ensure the bar is set up and maintained according to established standards prior to service
• Prepare garnishes and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar throughout service
Use of Systems and Tools
• Use approved hotel systems, including the Oracle Simphony Point- of- Sale system, SevenRooms Table Management System, and Oracle OPERA Cloud Property Management System, to support accurate orders, clear communication, and personalized guest experiences
Working Together
• Work closely with colleagues across Food and Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, and other hotel teams to anticipate needs and deliver a seamless guest experience
Professional Standards
• Actively participate in fire and life safety training and drills to ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests and colleagues
• Arrive punctually for every shift, prepared and ready to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Participate actively in daily briefings and training sessions to strengthen consistency, confidence, and guest engagement
• Maintain a polished appearance, confident posture, and professional demeanor throughout service
Other Responsibilities
• Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned
• Report for duty on time, wearing clean and complete uniform at all times
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel

Knowledge and Experience
• English is used daily in the workplace to support communication with an international and diverse five- star hotel clientele; proficiency is considered an asset
• Previous Food and Beverage or guest- facing experience is an advantage
• University, college, or vocational education preferred
• Familiarity with hospitality systems such as the Oracle Simphony Point- of- Sale system, SevenRooms Table Management System, and Oracle OPERA Cloud Property Management System is an advantage; training will be provided
