Product packaging concept development:
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams to understand the product and its unique selling points.
- Design original packaging concepts in line with brand identity and marketing goals.
Design execution:
- Create sketches, prototypes, and mockups to test ideas.
- Ensure that the designs meet regulatory and compliance requirements, where applicable.
- Develop final artwork for printing, including dielines, color schemes, and typography.
Material selection & feasibility:
- Choose appropriate materials for packaging, balancing cost- effectiveness, sustainability, and durability.
- Work closely with suppliers to understand material constraints and printing options.
Quality assurance:
- Review samples for quality and design accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure that packaging protects the product during shipping, handling, and storage.
Trend & Market Research:
- Analyze competitors’ packaging and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and packaging innovations.

Familiarity with various packaging materials.
Natural talent for design and a keen eye for detail.
Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, graphic design, art, or a similar field.
Toeic above 700 (preferably if you know more Japanese)
Proficient with 3D design software including CAD or AutoCAD.
Knowledge of consumer packaging health and safety regulations.
Experience with market research and product placement advertising.
Written and verbal communication skills in English with
Proven experience working as a packaging designer.
Marketing experience would be preferable.
