Demand Planner

The role plays an integral part in driving forecast accuracy improvement initiatives and is a key member of the S&OP process, including leading demand review meetings. The position requires close collaboration with Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Trade, and Finance to achieve overall business objectives.
The Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities related to customers and products, supporting the development of demand forecasts across multiple time horizons as part of the long- term demand strategy.

Coordinate the monthly forecasting cycle by gathering, validating, and analyzing data to improve forecast accuracy.
Manage exceptions and abnormal demand fluctuations effectively.
Anticipate, identify, and communicate key issues and decisions during demand planning discussions.
Monitor actual performance against forecasts and take appropriate actions or provide recommendations.
Support the line manager in managing and improving the S&OP process.
Actively participate in sales planning through demand review within the S&OP process.
Organize and facilitate monthly forecast meetings with relevant stakeholders as part of the S&OP process.
Liaise with Product Management and Supply teams to support integrated business planning and day- to- day operations.
Oversee demand planning and forecasting processes for both new and existing products.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of statistical and forecasting methods.
Strong data analysis capability with the ability to interpret and validate information.
Understanding of financial impact related to forecasting decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of Sales and Marketing.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Leadership capability and proactive mindset.
Willingness and ability to learn.
Strong analytical thinking and problem- solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
At least 7- 10 years of experience in relevant demand planning, S&OP, financial planning, pricing roles.
