JOB SUMMARY
The E- commerce Executive is responsible for managing and optimizing the hotel’s online presence, ensuring that the hotel’s digital assets, such as the website, booking engine, and third- party platforms, are performing at their best. This role will focus on driving online bookings, increasing revenue, and enhancing the hotel’s visibility across various online travel agencies (OTAs) and digital marketing channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Job Requirements
To upload rate/package to contracted website as per E- commerce manager’s instruction
To do market surveys, analysis competitors
Generate reservation report: Weekly report, monthly report, materialized report (RN, Revenue)
Ensure rate parity among OTA channels
To be up- to- date hotels products knowledge
In charge of Admin Task for E- commerce Session if required
To check across the inventory and fill in/top up allotment on OTA if the occupancy is low or left to ensure maximum profitability online channel
Position’s Responsibilities (in detail)
Working closely with E- commerce Manager to ensure:
Website & Booking Engine Management:
Monitor and optimize the booking engine to increase conversion rates, streamline the user experience, and drive direct bookings.
Manage and update the hotel’s official website and online booking engine.
Ensure that the website content is accurate, engaging, and reflects the brand’s identity.
Third- Party Platforms Management:
Oversee and update the hotel’s profiles on OTAs (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda) and metasearch platforms (e.g., Trivago, Bull pillow).
Ensure competitive pricing, accurate availability, and optimal content (descriptions, images, amenities, etc.) across all platforms.
Manage promotions and special offers on third- party platforms to increase visibility and bookings.
Reporting & Analytics:
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and growth of online revenue.
Regularly analyze website traffic, booking trends, and performance metrics using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Generate reports on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, online booking trends, and channel performance.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies that can enhance the hotel’s e- commerce strategy.
Conduct research on competitor pricing, offerings, and promotional strategies to stay competitive in the market.
Online Distribution Strategy:
Work closely with the revenue management team to monitor and adjust pricing strategies for both direct and third- party channels.
Analyze and optimize channel performance, adjusting strategies based on market demand and booking trends.
Develop and implement an online distribution strategy that aligns with the hotel’s revenue management goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with SEO, Google Ads, and digital marketing tools. (preferred)
Strong understanding of hotel booking engines, OTAs, and online travel distribution systems.
Proven experience in hotel e- commerce, digital marketing, or online distribution.
Strong analytical skills and experience with web analytics platforms.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and channel managers.
Experience with reputation management and online guest engagement tools.
