Executive Pastry Chef

The Executive Pastry Chef requires solid leadership qualities, organizational and administrative talent, and is fully responsible for his outlet operation. Plan, organize, control, and direct the work of colleagues. Accountable for the continuous development and improvement of the people, product, and profit of the Pastry Department with a focus on superior quality and consistency. To produce and supervise the production of all pastry- related items for the hotel, including the dessert displays, showpieces, chocolates, petit- fours, and specified bread items to a high- quality standard, with organizational and administrative talent.

Required Skills

Ensure that a full uniform is always worn

Computer and Microsoft Office skills
Demonstrate proper and safe usage of all kitchen equipment

Qualifications

Holder of an internationally approved Food Safety Certificate
Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Pastry & Baking, Culinary Skills, or related field

Experience

3 Years of previous experience in the same position
10 years minimum in a five- star hotel or fine- dining restaurant.
Good comprehension of the English language
