**Purpose**
They work closely with the Head of Logistics, providing financial insights, analysis, and support to help drive business performance and strategic decision- making. The individual will further collaborate with the Integrated Logistics, Freight Solutions and Tank & Chemical Logistics teams to understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities, and then provide financial guidance to help achieve those objectives.
The Finance Business Partner which will report directly to the Group Finance Planning & Analysis Director and indirectly to the Head of Logistics will act as a bridge between the finance function supporting all the financial analysis needs of the Logistics division.
Ben Line Agencies (BLA) is embarking on an extensive and radical transformation program to enhance organization capabilities, implement new systems (including the companies first ERP), centralize functional reporting (importantly including finance) dramatically improve finance and business reporting, document / standardize processes and improve controls. The Group is also looking to enhance significantly its decision making analysis, reporting of performance and KPIs and general business support capability.
The role will play a crucial role in translating financial data and insights into actionable recommendations that support the overall success and profitability of the organization. Ultimately, The Logistics Finance Business Partner will help ensure that financial considerations are integrated into operational decision- making processes, enabling the Logistics business to operate effectively and achieve its financial goals.
**Responsibilities**
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, and developing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Analyse financial data, performance metrics, and trends to provide insights and support decision- making.
• Working closely with cross- functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to drive business performance.
• Provide financial guidance, analysis, and advice to support sales opportunities, pricing requirements and capital investments and business cases.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for business units.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting business units in achieving financial targets.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and cost savings within business units.
• Collaborating with Logistics teams to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare and presenting financial reports, variance analysis, and other relevant information to stakeholders.
• Contributing to the development and execution of business strategies that align with the organization&039;s overall financial goals.
• Build strong relationships with Logistics business unit leaders, serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, regulatory authorities, and board members, to ensure transparency and accountability in financial matters.

Production of KPI Reports and monitoring: 20%
Business Case development and Pricing analysis: 30%
Financial Planning & Analysis: 50%
