POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Business Development Executive is a high- impact individual contributor role focused on acquiring new clients, closing deals, and generating revenue for InnoLab Asia Group&039;s programs and services. You will own the full sales cycle — from market research and outreach to proposal, negotiation, and contract close — while collaborating with program and operations teams to ensure successful delivery. This is not a support role; you are expected to drive results, own your pipeline, and push deals forward with urgency and professionalism.
This is not a pure execution role, you are expected to own progress, push conversations forward, and ensure results are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Acquisition & Revenue Generation
Consistently meet and exceed quarterly revenue and partnership targets.
Develop tailored proposals, sponsorship packages, and partnership structures that align with client objectives and InnoLab Asia &039;s offerings.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporates, government agencies, academic institutions, and ecosystem partners.
Own a personal pipeline of prospects and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement.
Market Research & Intelligence
Stay current on innovation ecosystem trends across Vietnam, ASEAN, Japan, Korea, and other target markets.
Feed market insights to leadership to inform program design and go- to- market strategy.
Conduct structured research to identify growth sectors, emerging client needs, and competitive positioning.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Represent InnoLab Asia at industry events, forums, and networking sessions to build brand presence and relationships.
Manage relationships post- close to ensure satisfaction, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
Engage senior stakeholders at potential partner organizations with credibility and strategic insight.
Proposal & Deal Execution
Prepare high- quality partnership decks, business proposals, and commercial agreements.
Work with internal teams (program, legal, finance) to ensure smooth contract execution and onboarding.
Lead and coordinate negotiation discussions to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
Cross- functional Collaboration
Partner with program and operations teams to align partnership commitments with delivery capabilities.
Provide strategic input on product/program positioning based on market feedback.
Collaborate with marketing on outreach, content, and event- based lead generation.
Reporting & Pipeline Management
Deliver weekly/monthly progress reports to leadership with actionable insights.
Forecast deal closures and flag risks proactively.
Maintain accurate and up- to- date CRM records, pipeline trackers, and opportunity logs.

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, International Business, or related fields.
Ability to manage multiple conversations, priorities, and follow- ups in parallel.
Have at least 2- 3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or similar roles.
Strong interest in startups, innovation, and international collaboration.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese (both written and verbal).
Strong result- oriented mindset: able to follow through, push progress, and ensure outcomes are delivered.
Experience in organizing events or community engagement is a strong advantage
Proactive, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast- paced environment.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with different types of partners.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Business Development Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for building and executing InnoLab Asia Group&039;s partnership and revenue strategy. You will lead a small business development team, own the commercial pipeline at an organizational level, and drive high- value partnerships with corporates, government bodies, and international collaborators. Beyond individual deal- making, you will shape how InnoLab Asia grows — building scalable sales processes, developing strategic alliances, and mentoring junior team members.
You are expected to operate with a CEO- like mindset on your accounts: own the outcome, lead the relationship, and deliver.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy & Business Growth
Advise leadership on market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and partnership positioning.
Develop and execute InnoLab Asia Group&039;s business development strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
Set quarterly and annual Business Development targets and lead the team toward consistent achievement.
Identify and evaluate new revenue streams, market segments, and strategic partnership categories.
Senior Partnership Development
Oversee the full partnership lifecycle from identification, outreach, negotiation, and contract close to delivery and renewal.
Develop enterprise- grade proposals, sponsorship structures, and multi- year partnership frameworks.
Lead engagement with high- value partners including major corporates, government agencies, international accelerators, and ecosystem platforms.
Serve as a trusted, senior point of contact for key accounts and strategic relationships.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Review and give feedback on proposals, outreach, and client communications produced by the team.
Build a performance- driven team culture with strong pipeline discipline and accountability.
Support recruitment and onboarding of Business Development talent as the team scales.
Manage and develop a team of Business Development executives, setting clear goals and providing ongoing coaching.
Revenue & Pipeline Oversight
Identify upsell, renewal, and cross- program opportunities within existing partner accounts.
Own the company- wide Business Development pipeline, ensuring consistent flow and accurate forecasting.
Deliver regular pipeline and revenue reports to COO and CEO with strategic recommendations.
Track deal progression, flag risks, and drive resolution of blockers across the team.
Market Intelligence & Brand Positioning
Represent InnoLab Asia at major industry events, panels, and delegation meetings.
Lead competitive research and ecosystem mapping to identify white- space opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing to build thought leadership, content, and Business Development collateral.
Build and maintain a robust network of contacts across Vietnam&039;s innovation ecosystem and beyond.
Cross- functional Leadership
Establish Business Development processes, tools, and standards across the team for consistency and scalability.
