Head of Learning & Development

Report to VP of Human Resources, the Head of Learning & Development is in charge of all training & development functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Design, develop, and deliver training programs using various learning methodologies, including classroom, virtual, and blended learning.
Drive a culture of continuous learning, development, and high performance across the organization.
Evaluate training effectiveness, analyze learning outcomes, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage internship and talent development programs as assigned.
Planning, implementing, and evaluating the learning and development programs; lead and drive related employee engagement initiatives, HR communications, employer branding activities, and other HR functions as required.
Partner with internal trainers, subject matter experts, and external training providers to develop and deliver learning solutions.
Lead supervisory, leadership, and managerial development programs to strengthen the resort’s talent pipeline.
Develop, implement, and oversee the resort’s learning and development strategy, programs, and initiatives.
Manage training records, learning management systems, reports, and training budgets.
Conduct training needs analyses and develop learning solutions to enhance employee capability and performance.
Oversee departmental training activities and trainer development programs to ensure effective knowledge transfer and capability building.
Ensure compliance training requirements are met in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Employee Engagement & HR Partnership
Develop and oversee HR communication and employer branding initiatives related to learning and development.
Manage learning and HR communication platforms and channels as assigned.
Lead employee engagement, recognition, and well- being initiatives to enhance employee experience and retention.
Partner with department heads and HR leader on talent development, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Lead or participate in HR projects and organizational development initiatives as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 10 years of experience in Training & Development, preferably in related industries such as hospitality, gaming with experience in international resorts, 5- star hospitality groups, integrated resort…
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast- paced environment.
Strong command of spoken and written English.
University Degree is required. Oversea Education in related fields is preferred.
