• Meet and greet all guests, and potential guests, at the front of the Restaurant by ensuring the following:
Welcoming guests to the Restaurant as hotel standard
Ensure restaurant operating equipment is clean and in working order
Being attentive to guest requests
Maintaining uniform and personal presentation standards in accordance with hotel policy
Ensure the restaurant is ready to welcome guests prior to opening and that both wait staff and tables are ready in line with opening standards
Creating a reservation for them with their dining preferences if they do not and noting it in the reservation book
• Professionally handle enquiries billing and payment of bills in compliancy with the hotel’s established policies and procedures
• Ensure the charged bill is checked against room number and name in accordance with computer listing prior to posting
• Ensure that the cashier workstation is tidy and clean at all times
• Inform the Supervisor of any problems encountered during shift and also clearly document in the outlet’s log book
• Ensure that all work is balanced at the end of each shift and that the total, balances with the computer’s total
• Behaves in accordance with Our Winning Ways to promote the True Hospitality for goods.
• Strictly adhere to the hotel’s established policies and procedures with regard to the handling of payments, credit, cash float and shift hand over
• Assists the food and beverage outlet team in peak and idle times by:
Assisting with restaurant set up
Assisting with cleaning of outlet
Assisting with clearing of dishes and table set up
Assisting with service

Required Skills –
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Able to communicate Korean is an advantage
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.
Qualifications –
• High School or Diploma in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or equivalent Experience
• Food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred.
