HR Generalist (Restaurant Industry)

The Role:
We are looking for an HR Generalist to support the operation of a French restaurant group. This role covers Recruitment, Payroll & C&B, HR Administration. The ideal candidate is hands- on, detail- oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic F&B environment.
Responsibilities
Draft and manage HR- related documents, policies, announcements, and internal communications.
Prepare HR, payroll, and workforce reports to support management decision- making.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, employee relations, and offboarding for restaurant and corporate functions.
Lead end- to- end recruitment activities for operational, supervisory, management, and back- office positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding.
Build and maintain talent pipelines while partnering closely with hiring managers to support workforce planning and hiring needs across four restaurant outlets.
Coordinate general HR administration and provide effective support to business operations across all locations.
Administer labor contracts, employee benefits, personal income tax (PIT), social insurance (SI), health insurance (HI), and unemployment insurance (UI) in compliance with Vietnamese Labor Law and company policies.
Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel files while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Prepare and process monthly payroll for approximately 70–80 employees across four restaurants and back- office teams, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely payment.
Manage attendance, leave administration, overtime calculations, service charge distribution, and all payroll- related documentation.
Ensure a positive candidate and employee experience while supporting employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company&039;s presence in the talent market.
Requirements
Basic English communication skills are required.
Detail- oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Experience in F&B, hospitality, restaurant, or service industries is highly preferred.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Human Resources, or related fields.
Strong payroll and labor law knowledge.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Operations, Payroll, or related positions.
