IT Support Staff

JOB SUMMARY
The IT Support position is responsible for providing first- level technical support to end- users, maintaining office IT systems, and assisting with user management and IT asset operations. This role ensures smooth and safe daily operations with security by handling hardware, software, and network- related issues in a timely and professional manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support & System Operations:
• Install and update approved software, applications, and security patches.
• Monitor, record, and escalate network or system alerts to Senior ICT staff when required.
• Manage and maintain domain systems.
• Support user account creation, permission changes, and other operations on systems such as Active Directory and email services.
• Assist in setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and office IT equipment.
• Provide first- level technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Employee Onboarding Support
• Install company software and operating systems.
• Prepare IT equipment for new employees (PC, monitor, mobile devices, accessories).
• Ensure all IT tools are ready before an employee’s first working day.
Employee Resignation Process Support
• Reset and wipe data on PCs and mobile devices.
• Store and maintain returned equipment (PC, monitor, mobile devices).
• Check other handed- over assets such as locker/cabinet keys, headphones, etc.
Office IT & Security Maintenance
• Ensure all office working systems operate smoothly, including PCs, printers, internet connection, telephone systems, and related equipment.
• Respond and resolve IT- related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Take an on- site reaction against any security issues of network and infrastructure.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, and related documentation.
Other Responsibilities
• Perform tasks assigned by the Leader or upper management.
