Logistics Operations Manager

National Logistics Network Architecture Planning and Optimization – partnering with Sales, Tech, Finance, & Category Management teams
Review existing logistics network of 20 warehouses and 40+ trucks on efficiency and service levels
Devise & iterate appropriate logistics network strategy and operational policies to satisfy requirements on cost and service levels (dependent on varying geographies, product groups and customer groups)
Warehouse Operations
Assess requirements, help shape solution and implement QR barcode- based warehouse management system (WMS) for warehouse operations teams
Manage, coach and motivate warehouse operations teams across 12 warehouses (totaling over +90,000 m2)
Continuously review, update, and enforce SOPs for warehouse operations, ensuring 5S, FIFO and meeting targeted efficiency & service levels for all defined customer groups (B2B wholesalers & retailers, B2B project sales and B2C ecommerce)
Transport Operations
Maximize service level & efficiency for truck fleet of
Based on budget and business requirements, set up 3PL policies, procure and audit 3PL vendor performance
Continuously review, update, and enforce SOPs for transport operations, leveraging and suggesting changes/updates to existing transport management system (TMS) system where necessary
Oversee reverse/returns logistics

Passion and aptitude for applications of data and software into logistics management

Strong communication skills with logistics workforce and partners
Demonstrated passion and excellence in warehouse and transport management
Willingness and competence to build systems, policies, and capabilities for team members
Experience in one or more of the following fields: logistics, retail chains, product distribution, and manufacturing (especially for domestic market)
