Job Objective
Collaborate with the production team to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for technical defects or bottlenecks in the forging, rolling, and machining stages.
Set up and manage automated workflows (via Power Automate) to streamline approval processes and the routing of technical documents across departments.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies to improve workplace layouts and reduce non- value- added activities for operators.
Run simulations for complex physical processes (such as induction heating and heat treatment) using specialized software (e.g., CENOS IH) to determine optimal operating parameters prior to shop- floor implementation.
Develop tools and scripts (using Python, Excel VBA) to automate production data collection, machine parameter extraction, and generate periodic reports (Daily/Weekly Reports) for the Management Board.
Play a key role in modernizing and optimizing the production line for wind turbine rings and flanges (including forging, ring rolling, CNC machining, and heat treatment). Apply software technologies, 3D design, and physical simulations to minimize waste, enhance productivity, and meet the strict quality standards of the corporate group.
Design and improve jigs/fixtures, and assist in creating/exporting technical drawings using CAD software (Fusion 360, AutoCAD, etc.).
MI Project Management:
Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and report on the effectiveness of improvement initiatives to higher management in English or Korean.

Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
Proven experience in continuous improvement (CI), R&D, or process engineering within heavy industrial manufacturing (metalworking, forging, or heat treatment preferred).
Experience
Technical Skills:
High stress tolerance and the ability to adapt to a fast- paced work environment with strict process compliance typical of Korean enterprises.
Strong data- driven mindset and logical problem- solving skills.
Proficiency in basic programming and data automation (Python, Excel VBA, Power Automate).
Firsthand understanding of Korean working culture or previous experience working with Korean experts is a strong plus.
Hands- on experience or solid understanding of heat treatment/induction heating simulation software (e.g., CENOS IH) is a significant competitive advantage.
Strong skills in CAD design software (Fusion 360, AutoCAD, etc.).
Languages:
Good command of English (reading technical documents and basic communication). Proficiency in Korean is a major advantage.
