Odoo Developer

Job Overview:
bTaskee is looking for an experienced Middle/Senior Odoo Developer to take the lead in the end- to- end design, development, customization, and maintenance of our internal CRM system built on Odoo. This role is critical for ensuring efficient management of our member lifecycle, from initial contact and onboarding to ongoing engagement and retention.
Responsibilities and Duties:
CRM Development & Customization

Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, well- documented Python code and utilize Odoo&039;s framework effectively.
System Architecture: Analyze business requirements and propose optimal technical solutions within the Odoo framework.
Module Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules and features, primarily focused on extending and optimizing the Odoo CRM and related modules.

Integration & Data Management

Data Migration: Oversee and execute data migration strategies to transfer existing member data into the new Odoo CRM system.
Reporting: Develop complex custom reports and dashboards within Odoo to provide actionable insights on membership health, engagement, and pipeline status.
External Integration: Integrate the Odoo CRM with external systems and third- party communication tools (if applicable).

Collaboration & Maintenance

Maintenance & Support: Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for the Odoo environment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Management) to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective solutions.
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed modules, customizations, and integrations.
Version Control: Utilize Git for code management and adhere to best practices for Odoo development and deployment.

Qualifications and Skills:
Must have

Strong communication skills to articulate technical solutions to non- technical stakeholders.
Experience with PostgreSQL database and writing optimized queries;
Strong proficiency in Python programming;
Knowledge of version control systems like GIT;
2+ years of professional experience in Odoo development;
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineer/Information Technology or IT- related major;
Ability to work independently and manage development tasks end- to- end;
In- depth knowledge of the Odoo framework, architecture, and core modules, particularly Odoo CRM;
Excellent problem- solving and analytical skills;

Nice to have

Familiarity with deployment and hosting environments (e.g., Docker, Linux servers).
Hands- on experience integrating Odoo with external APIs (REST/SOAP);
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Odoo&039;s QWeb templating engine;
