Production Supervisor – Backpack / Technical Bags Manufacturing

Production Planning & Order Control
- Receive production orders from Planning Department and organize production according to schedule.
- Monitor production progress and ensure orders meet delivery targets.
- Allocate work orders (WO) to production lines based on capacity and priority.
Production Supervision
- Support line leaders and team leaders in solving operational issues.
- Supervise daily production operations including sewing lines and cutting teams.
- Ensure production processes follow approved technical instructions and quality standards.
Production Output Monitoring
- Monitor production output hourly and daily to ensure targets are achieved.
- Coordinate with line leaders to improve line productivity.
- Analyze production performance and take immediate action if output is below target.
First Article Quality Verification
- Ensure technical instructions and quality standards are correctly applied before production launch.
- Verify the first 5 pieces before mass production to confirm correct setup and product quality.
In- Line Quality Control
- Identify defects early and coordinate with QA and Technical teams for corrective actions.
- Monitor product quality during production on an hourly basis.
Defect Control and Rework Management
- Monitor defective products and ensure rework is completed promptly.
- Maintain feedback loop between production, QA, and Technical teams.
- Ensure defects detected in one hour are corrected and prevented in the next production cycle.
Machine Control & Maintenance Coordination
- Implement 5S standards for machines and production equipment.
- Monitor production machines to ensure stable operation during production.
- Ensure machines are properly maintained and production disruptions are minimized.
- Coordinate with Maintenance team when machines are broken or malfunctioning.
Material Preparation for Work Orders
- Prevent production delays caused by material shortages.
- Ensure materials are prepared and available before starting each work order.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Planning teams to ensure correct material supply to production lines.
Scrap and Waste Control
- Analyze causes of material waste and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor scrap rate during production.
- Work with Technical and QA teams to reduce scrap and improve material utilization.
Production Resource Management
- Organize manpower allocation across production lines.
- Optimize utilization of machines, labor, and materials.
- Adjust resources based on production priorities.
5S and Workplace Management
- Ensure workplace organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
- Implement and maintain 5S standards in production areas.
- Enforce worker discipline and compliance with factory rules.
Worker Efficiency Control
- Balance line operations and improve workflow efficiency.
- Monitor worker productivity and line efficiency.
Training & Skill Development
- Conduct on- the- job training to improve worker skills.
- Maintain and update the production training matrix.
- Support cross- training of workers to increase production flexibility.
Cross- Department Coordination
- Support Technical team during new sample development and pilot production.
- Work closely with Planning, Technical, QA, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and workflow.
- Support Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives in production.
Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly production reports.
- Report production progress, issues, and improvement proposals to management.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks assigned by Production Manager or Factory Director.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple production orders and solve operational issues.
- Minimum 5 years experience in production supervision or manufacturing management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in garment, backpack, bag, or luggage manufacturing preferred.

Salary: 18,000,000 – 28,000,000 VND depending on experience and capability.
