• Ensures consistency in providing luxury quality of service, food and beverage to the guests.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel daily services, activities, promotion, and event. Effectively communicate and update all team members on any changes to ensure guests receive up- to- date information.
• Greet all guest warmly upon arrival at the door and escort them to the table
• Be the Champion in menu knowledge of the restaurant and delivers stellar recommendations and food- beverage pairings to enhance guests’ dining experience.
• Handling complaints and resolving service ‘Glitches’, keep Manager on Duty updated and keep a record of all feedbacks under the appropriate system. Ensures that the issues are resolved in a timely manner to guests’ satisfaction.
• Be knowledgeable of the hotel’s offerings, special events or promotions to provide most up- to- date information and accurate information to guests.
• Try to remember individual guest’s names and their preferences to extend a personalized service
• Take order from the guest, ensure all the items are correct, note down and communicate all the special request, show the efforts of upselling
• Clear and tidy up tables after the departure of the patrons as quickly as possible to the stewarding area
• Check on table setting, cleanliness and side station preparation as per work station assigned prior to the start of operation
• Ensures opening and closing checklist are completed on a daily basis.
• Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction.
• Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Up- sell and promote food and beverage offers at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue. Cross sell other dining venue when outlet is full
• Pick up and serve food and beverage orders. Ensure that food and beverage are served promptly to the guests once they are ready, such that they arrive at the patrons’ table at the correct temperature

• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
• Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
• Must be well- presented and professionally groomed at all times
• Experience in restaurant or hotel will be an advantage
• Experience in Micros, MC, MS Office will be an advantage
• High school Graduation (minimum
