Key Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for actively selling hotel rooms, meeting facilities, and other services to corporate accounts, travel agents, and MICE clients. This role focuses on achieving revenue targets, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to maximize hotel profitability.
Sales Activities & Revenue Generation
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
Achieve assigned sales targets for rooms, meetings, events, and other hotel services.
Conduct site inspections and entertainment for potential and existing clients.
Proactively prospect new clients and develop new accounts in assigned market segments (Corporate, MICE, Travel Trade).
Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue.
Account Management
Regularly visit existing clients to maintain relationships and identify upselling opportunities.
Monitor account performance and develop action plans for underperforming accounts.
Handle client inquiries, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision- makers.
Market Intelligence
Identify new market segments and business opportunities.
Provide feedback and suggestions on pricing, positioning, and sales strategies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Coordination & Communication
Participate in sales meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
Coordinate with other departments (Front Office, F&B, Events) to ensure smooth execution of group bookings and events.
Communicate client requirements clearly to operations teams.
Prepare and distribute group resumes and banquet event orders (BEOs).
Reporting & Administration
Ensure all contracts and documentation are properly filed.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports as required.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, calls, and entertainment in the system.
Update and maintain client databases and contact information.
Other Duties
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales or Sales Manager
Support hotel promotional campaigns and activities.
Participate in sales trips, trade shows, and industry events.

Education & Experience
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
Minimum 2- 3 years of sales experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a 4- 5 star hotel.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Skills & Competencies
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results- oriented with a proactive approach.
Knowledge of market segments (Corporate, MICE, Travel Trade).
Good command of English (both written and spoken).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
