Sales Manager (based in HCMC)

Identify performance gaps and recommend appropriate tools and targeted sales training to enhance team effectiveness. Collaborate with individual hotel teams to assess skill development needs and strategically allocate sales resources for maximum impact.
As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for driving and nurturing business growth through proactive initiatives such as direct sales & marketing campaigns, telesale, direct mail, appointment calls, and hotel tours. In addition, you develop and implement strategic action plans designed to generate measurable, incremental revenue for the hotel.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
• Execute targeted sales initiatives aligned with the hotel’s business plan.
• Represent the hotel at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
• Drive corporate and travel agent room sales to maximize hotel revenue.
• Manage and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver prompt, professional communication and foster long- term client relationships.
• Identify new markets and business opportunities to expand sales reach.
• Assess training needs through property visits and team interactions, recommending targeted development programs.
• Target and develop key accounts to strengthen the company’s portfolio.
• Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty through service excellence.
• Build strong collaboration with the front office team to ensure unified goals and seamless execution.
• Review and update action plans and financial objectives on a monthly basis.
• Ensure timely follow- up on all business leads within a 24- hour response window
• Manage operational aspects of booked business, including proposals, contracts, and client correspondence.
• Mentor sales team members by accompanying them on client calls and evaluating sales effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the sales team on client calls to secure new business and close deals.
• Participate actively in departmental and hotel- wide meetings.
• Conduct daily sales calls and organize site inspections for clients.
• Engage with the local community to broaden the customer base and uncover new opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales, Revenue & Reservation Manager to align rate negotiations with financial objectives.
• Analyze business strategies, set clear goals, and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.
• Acquire and develop new business accounts, preparing tailored sales proposals for clients.
