Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

Work with databases, particularly Postgre, to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our development processes.
DevOps practices, processes, and tooling.
Work with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front- end and back- end components.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable back- end solutions using Java Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

Qualifications:
Must- have

Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
A bachelor’s in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Over 5 years of proven experience as a Back- End Developer,
Well- versed in writing structured, well- documented, maintainable, and clean code.
Proficiency in database management, specifically with Postgre.
Good at communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem- solving and analytical skills.
Hands- on experience with creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments.
Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
At least 3 years’ experience with Java frameworks (including Spring Boot).
Hands- on experience in Containers (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker) and FaaS (AWS Lambda) technologies.
Experience with cloud- based solutions, particularly AWS.

Nice- to- have

Experience with banking/finance domain
Strong DevOps and CI/CD skillset
Experience with Camunda
