System Database Engineer

Take ownership of IT infrastructure design and support implementation of IT projects in compliance with internal standards.
Implement and maintain core IT infrastructure, including physical/virtual servers, storage systems, operating systems, and databases.

Coordinate with local vendors to troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
Perform server administration activities together with the Group IPS (GIPS) team, including capacity monitoring, security patching, obsolescence management, and event- log review to ensure smooth system performance.
Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat and Windows servers.
Work with relevant stakeholders to provide and implement IT infrastructure architecture in IT projects.
Implement and maintain database synchronization, backup, and restoration across multiple sites.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and deliverables.
Provide regular updates and reports to relevant teams on IT infrastructure- related matters.
Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to achieve optimal query performance.

Minimum 4 years of experience in IT, especially in roles such as System Administrator or Database Administrator.
Hands- on experience with MS SQL and Oracle database administration.
Experience in server and database architecture design.
English proficiency.
Experience working with Red Hat, Windows servers, and VMware.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, modern IT equipment, backup and recovery procedures, system performance monitoring tools, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
