Job Overview
The Technical Service Manager oversees, Technical Service, and provides input and feed back to Product development.
Responsibilities and Duties
Technical Service
Prepare and try various coating systems as per customer line configuration
Administration of QA- tools for line assessment
Provide proper samples for colour matching to Technical Department
Work closely and exchange technical and product information with Technical Service Department
Update customers’ line and test reports for internal and customer control
Clearly communicate customer requests for order procedure/delivery to corresponding departments
Provide all relevant technical data of customers’ coating equipment to R&D for proper development support
Pass sample requests and deadlines to Technical Department (for coated samples) or to Production (for liquid samples)
Technical sales support for direct customers
Assure appropriate conduct and filing of visit and trial reports
Organise/conduct training of customers’ operators on- site or at Techno’s Technical Lab
Assure appropriate technical support to customers; organise and request reasonable resources
Preparation and testing of samples for customers in the Technical Lab
Visit existing and potential customers; prepare visit report, follow up actions
Product Development (Input & Feedback)
Assist in development projects in collaboration with the responsible development engineer.
Define/assign clear product & process development objectives.
General
Motivate and coach subordinates. Encourage a learning culture in Techno
Conduct regular progress review meetings with subordinates
Familiarise and fully understand Techno’s products and coating technologies
Ensure good internal control to safeguard the company&039;s assets
compliance with ISO 9001:2015
Monitor and align the professional development and compensation of subordinates in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Director
Optimise, comply with & maintain processes/procedures in
Visit relevant local trade shows to gather information for technical knowledge
Work Ethics
Demonstrate support and a positive attitude towards all colleagues & departments; avoid barriers from building up
Contribute to the principal guidelines of the company’s mission in all daily activities

Qualifications
Strong Interpersonal skills; team player and independent worker
Chinese speaking and writing
Minimum of 1 year experienced in the related field.
Diploma or higher
Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem- solving skills are essential.
Computer literate
