PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Spartronics Viet Nam is seeking a highly skilled Test Leader to join our team in the production of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) and Box- build for electronic products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the test of our PCBA/ Box- build products meets or exceeds customer requirements and all standards related to testing.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement corrective actions: Ensure problems are resolved and preventive measures are put in place.
- Failure analysis: Lead investigations when boards fail test, working with FA (Failure Analysis) and engineering teams.
- Develop test plans & schedules: Ensure test activities align with production timelines.
- Document test results: Keep accurate and traceable records for audits or customer requirements.
- Yield improvement initiatives: Analyze trends in defects to improve process capability.
- Technology adoption: Stay informed about new PCBA test methods and integrate where applicable.
- Optimize test processes: Reduce cycle time, improve fault coverage, and eliminate false failures.
- Cost reduction: Propose test process improvements that save cost without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with related teams: Work closely with manufacturing, process engineering, and design teams to ensure test coverage and troubleshoot issues.
- Select and maintain test equipment: Ensure fixtures, test stations, and instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Define test strategy: Decide which tests to run (ICT, FCT, boundary scan, burn- in, etc.) based on product requirements and standards (e.g., IPC, customer specs).
- Create & validate test programs: Develop or oversee development of automated test programs and ensure they correctly detect failures.
Education:
- Bachelor&039;s or Master&039;s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years working in electronic product testing.
Others:
- Proficiency in the English language (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross- functional teams.
- Effective leadership and team management.
- In- depth understanding of testing methods and technologies.
- Strong expertise in advanced test methodologies, including ICT, functional, Fly probe boundary scan, and other testing.
