Wood Production Manager

Plan and organize department in alignment with company business plan & strategy.
· Check and ensure the availability of human and material resources needed.
· Monitor product standards and implement quality- control system.
· Plan production scheduling and ensure everything is according to the delivery schedule.
· Take responsible for the implementation of health and safety measures.
· Oversee the production process and drawing up a production schedule.
· Identify where production need to improve, lead and support continuous improvement projects.
· Check and approve orvertime requests within budget and compliance with regulations of labor laws.
· Maximize the production&039;s performance, while minimize any delays to ensure meeting deadlines.
· Review the quality standards, technical requirements and BOM before production starts.
· Lead production team and control utility of production resources of labor, machines & equipment, materials and operating budgets to achieve output, product quality and efficiency target.
· Manage all the work orders within the leadtime, labor cost and materials budget.
· Monitor the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
· Make sure that products are produced on time and of right quality at the first time;
· Estimate manhours and monitor labor costs actual vs budget.
· Ensure the right machines and equipments are used, and they are being operated correctly and maintained timely.
· Monitor and ensure that the production is cost effective, also update and implement solutions to improve wherever it is needed.
· Prepare and review reports to provide a full picture of department operation and performance.

· BA, BSC or related equivalent degree.
· Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in keyboarding and MS Office suite.
· Long term engagement and objective oriented is highly desirable.
· Minimal 02 years’ experience in similar position in a foreign furniture manufacturer.
· Experience with CAD software, CNC machines and industrialized production is preferred.
· The ability to work to deadlines, handle high levels of pressure and critical decision- making.
· Familiar to working with ERP is preferred.
· Good communication skill in both Vietnamese and English.
· Knowledgeable of wood working machines and production processes in wood component, panel, sanding & assembly.
· Strong leadership and excellent management skill is required.
· Strong background with professional training on production management or engineering.
