Production Management- Operational excellence
Hold daily stand ups with all members of the team at the start of the shift. These meetings must cover SHE- ESG, quality, production, customer commitments and other issues or potential risks.
Manage and update production records such as data on input materials, output, quality, order tracking, human resource tracking, tools.
Assure compliance to shift schedule, recommend overtime as needed, and secure commits to be reviewed with superior.
Ensure that data of control plan, record sheet, material ID, machine identification… will match / align with requirements.
Monitor Yield, Scrapped percentage at the processes, groups and overall line, take the corrections, preventions to mitigate and / or eliminate the wastes, reject rate. Escalate to superior or other interested parties in case of needs
Implement consistent and robust SBS procedures and processes throughout assembly operations.
Implement and monitor the monthly counting (inventory, equipment, tools…) and take mitigated / improvement actions accordingly.
Cross over and collaborate with other Shift Leaders within to assure flawless daily communication.
Drive daily operations of the assembly areas to assure safety, quality, delivery, utilization, and employee performance and satisfaction.
With the remarkable supports from:
Superior: Prepare data supported for the weekly Performance reports of the responsible areas i.e Supporting Hours Request, ensure all working hours from operators are correct, reported output are matching with QA data…
Supporting Functions colleagues: check and correct the daily attendance of operators.
With the significant supports from superior:
Be the liaison between the workers, Team leader (or Water spiders) and supervisors and solve disputes between workers.
Handle problems, incidents, complaints related to production, propose and implement timely solutions.
Perform other related tasks at the request of the superior.
Provide guidance of work rules, company policies and regulations, production requirements and procedures... to the subordinates.
Coordinate with other departments such as QA, Maintenance, Supply Chain, etc. to ensure product delivery on time and according to customer requirements.
Comply with all policies, regulations, and requirements of ISO 9001, employee handbook, work rules, etc.
Assist in the training and development of new employees. Ensure training/instruction is performed well for new employees and effectively.
Maintain optimal absenteeism rates by building and maintaining fair, and sustainable labor relationships with the support of the HR department, promptly and satisfactorily handling issues arising related to employees.
Report nonconformities, production progress to superior.
Continuous Improvement
5S
Conduct 5S+ and LPA audits and hold self and team accountable for actions to improve simple issues every day.
Maintain 5S and its standards during the working shift.
Support the audits conducted by Production and other supporting departments and take the account to close the simple findings.
Report / feedback on the non- conformities to superior and / or interested parties and chances of improvement if any.
Kaizen
Improve quality of product, processes and working environment through continuous improvement initiatives.
Inspire coworkers contributing their initiatives to cheer with Lean culture.
Share good samples and / or practices to other colleagues.
Cooperate with other Shift Leaders to support for the success of IDL and DL Point Kaizen as aligned with superior within responsible area.
CI events
Support to the CI events such as SKB, BKB... when necessary.
Join the quite complicated CI events when required or recommended.
MES
Support the audits conducted by Production and other supporting departments and take the account to close the findings.
Take the account to implement shift meeting and other requirements for sustaining BI Report.
Take the corrections regarding non- compliance, abnormal data… Hold self and team accountable for actions to improve simple issues every day.
Able to read simple reports and identify the root cause prior to taking corrective actions.
Responsible for the performance and compliance of employees during the working shift/or responsible area as assigned from superior.
Able to cooperate with MES Project Team/Or other colleagues to implement action for current working shift/or responsible area as assigned from superior.
Provide training for DL/IDL newcomers or refresh training with guidance and support from other colleagues or superiors.
Report / feedback on the non- conformities to superior and / or interested parties and chances of improvement if any.
Talent Acquisition
Conduct the Employee exit interview process, report on its performance.
Proactive building talent pool related DL, DLS, IDL e.g. Line Assistant, Water Spider...
Forecast and propose recruiting plan to superior to secure the business demand.
Learning & Development
KPIs set- up for subordinates and conduct PA, IDP annually.
Conduct the personal sharing e.g. good practice, lesson learnt, 8D report... with the instructions and supports from other colleagues or superior.
Consult superior in build- up standards, KPIs set- up at responsible area(s).
Conduct hard skill training for Team Leaders/ Water Spiders, Shift Leaders with the supports from other colleagues or superior.
Support events to promote Production department| company&039;s culture.
Take Buddy role in case of assignment.
Responsible for training, developing skills, knowledge and improving skills of workers to meet the requirements of the company and customers at the responsible area.
Train, guide, motivate and evaluate the performance of production staff, build a professional and high- spirited team.
Motivate and inspire the production associates actively participate to the programs organized by company, HR, LU… Member of simple events.
SHE- ESG
Provide feedback accountable in work tasks, safety, quality, lean and job performance.
Assure that all assembly equipment, procedures, and employee actions meet required safety protocols.
Implement and promote safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure adherence to ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
Ensure no violation of "7 continuous working days", "12h break" and other OVT requirements (e.g. 40h per month, 300h per year).
Conduct all required health and safety audits within responsible scope
Initiate, participate and motivate other members joining to the ESG (Environment Social Governance) programs.
Identify and report the near miss, incident and accident to superior, and / or other interested parties.
