Supervise and Training of assigned employees
Participate in the planning and costing of menus
Maintain a hygienic kitchen
Additionally, success in this role will be leading the team to maximise financial performance, continuously driving both revenue- generating and cost control improvements, maximising profitability, whilst leading a positive and productive work environment for others.
Maintain comprehensive product knowledge including ingredients, equipment, suppliers, markets, and current trends and make recommendations for appropriate adjustments to kitchen operations accordingly
Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
Develop new dishes and products
Direct all kitchen activities from our kitchen. This critical role is at the heart of planning and creating memorable culinary experiences for guests. You’ll also ensure quality, kitchen maintenance, and inventory functions kept to our high standards- to make sure your kitchen is always running smoothly.
Clean the kitchen and equipment
Maintain personal hygiene
Ensure that outstanding culinary technical skills are maintained
Assist with organizing special events and special food promotions

Required Skills:
Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
Problem solving and training abilities.
Awareness of valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.
Qualification:
Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or food preparations or related field
Experience:
2 years related experience as or formal training or an equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience
