• Identify and seek out prospective clientele within the sales area, including accommodation and function facilities

• Assist with planning & execution in activities, events for in- house residents and potentials

• Conduct sales calls to all existing and new clients to increase awareness and establish supportive business relationships
• Possess high- level negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Negotiate and propose adequate pricing to maximize profitability in consideration of sales strategy goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by DOSM
• Collect & update competitors’ information
• Network and maintain relations with clients and associates
• Escort existing and potential clients on site- inspections to familiarize them with the product
• Must be a proactive thinker and planner
• Prepare reports on sales activities and sales calls periodically as required
• Co- ordinate with Revenue Manager to plan sales promotions
• Develop and put into practice the most effective sales activity and service for each account
• Perform indoor and outdoor sales functions
• Maintain an on- going relationship with colleagues, hotel current and past clients
• Participate in sales trade shows conventions and promotional events within the industry when required
• Must have an understanding RFP and contract negotiation processes.
• Responsible for achieving individual and sales team goals to include the corporate market segment
• Enhance awareness by providing product knowledge and promote promotions and information
• Participate in sales activities including sales trips, both individually and in conjunction with the sales team when required
• Responsible for following up with inquires and new leads within time set by DOSM
• Strong knowledge of luxury hotels and client demographics associated with the corporate market segment
• Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times
• Entertain clients in order to nurture the relationship and increase sales
• Achieve goal targets as assigned
Yêu cầu công việc
Ability to build up and enhance business relationship with corporate clients
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in hotel industry
Good command in both speaking and writing in English
Good presentation and public speaking skills
Bachelor degree in hotel industry or relevant qualification
Showing strong initiative and creative skills
Proficiency in Microsoft software, and property management systems (PMS)
Passionate, self- motivated, highly proactive, customer- orientated, cooperative and able to work under pressure
